Trigeminal Neuralgia Treatment in Hospitals in Wuwei, China

Usually, pathology requires conservative therapy, but in complex cases, operations for decompression of the affected nerve are performed. Non-invasive and invasive procedures in local clinics are carried out using high-tech equipment and instruments.

Pathology is diagnosed quickly: to determine it, doctors conduct a thorough palpation and fix the localization of the source of pain. Then CT or MRI on wide-field tomographs with a power of 3-9 Tesla is used, which give the most detailed and clear image. Tomographic diagnosis helps determine the etiology of neuralgia.

• taking patented latest-generation normothymics and neuropeptides,
• taking anti-epileptic agents,

• microvascular decompression surgery (installation of a protective buffer between the nerve and the adjacent blood vessel),
